The shoe features leather supplied from gold rated tanneries that can trace raw materials to responsibly managed ranches, linings made from 100% PET ocean recycled yarns, laces made from recycled plastic bottles, reinforcements made from reprocessed commercial fishing nets, a sockliner that uses raw materials from castor beans as a replacement for petroleum-based products, and a cupsole that uses recycled content rubber. The shoe is packaged in FSC (Forest Service Council) certified paper products that guarantees the raw materials come from sustainably managed forests.
